New Orleans cuisine and Daiquiri bar searching for talented line cooks with potential for growth looking to use their skill sets to provide quality food to our guests at a fast pace.
Mix of weekday AM and PM shifts. Up to 40 hours per week
Pay can range from $11- $13/hour and is based on experience, skill set and work ethic.
Minimum 2 years work Experience preferred
Basic duties to be preformed by a line cook:
- prepping and setting stations accordingly before and after shift
- informing the chef of any items low on stock or improperly prepped before the start of service
- execute Preparation of vast array of dishes efficiently
- assisting other cooks at various stations when necessary
- breaking down and cleaning stations and equipment after shift according to kitchen standards
- assisting other cooks with closing duties when necessary
Open positions require the ability to:
- work various types of kitchen equipment simultaneously
- perform under high volume and pressure
- hold yourself and others around you to a high standard
- read, understand and execute various recipes from basic to advanced difficulty levels
- communicate with the chef and other cooks efficiently
- teamplayer and punctual
