• Maintains an effective working pace, striving to consistently achieve productivity standards of each machine/station to ensure the efficiency of the operation and proper flow of goods from start to finish.
• Operates various linen production machines by “feeding” linen into a folder or ironer, or by “catching” linen coming out of the folder or ironer to be put into delivery carts. Maintains competence and safe practices in the operation of machines. When hand folding, maintains consistent, neat folds and stacks linen in the same manner.
• Strives to maintain the integrity of all linen products at all times, including while running them through the machine, but also during any other contact or handling of the products.
• Strives to deliver only quality linen to customers, setting aside products that contain unacceptable stains to be sent back through the stain wash or reclaim wash process, and products containing tears, rips, frays, or are too thin to be disposed of properly through our rag out process.
• Ensures proper order filling so that customers receive only the linen they request in the quantities they expect, and all linen is folded and packed neatly and consistently.
• Rotates duties, positions or stations as needed or requested to cover all areas of the clean side operation.
• Maintains attendance and punctuality requirements as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
