Job Opportunity for Litigation Associate, New York Office

Seiden Law LLP, an experienced litigation and regulatory firm in Manhattan, is seeking a litigation associate to work with a team of seasoned lawyers and support staff on interesting complex litigation and arbitration matters. Candidates must have at three-five years of litigation experience in federal and state court. We are seeking highly motivated individuals who desire to work on fascinating cases from clients around the world and practice at the highest level while having significant responsibility and front-line exposure. This role will include:

• Interfacing with partners, counsel and other senior and support staff members, courts, and arbitral bodies.
• Researching, drafting and arguing motions.
• Working with experts and witnesses.
• Conducting or assisting in depositions and managing or assisting in managing discovery in litigation and arbitration.
• Develop or assist in developing and implementing affirmative litigation strategies.

Credentials:

• Excellent academic credentials
• J.D. from accredited law school
• Experience in litigation (3-5 years)
• Licensed to practice law in New York
• Outstanding references and writing samples

• Demonstrate outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, verbally and in writing
• Ability and experience working effectively within a team
• Organized and efficient; able to prioritize the most critical work
