Logistics Clerk Job at Denios, Inc.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistic Clerk to join our team. A successful Logistic Clerk is responsible for completing daily documentation and manage daily inventory levels, processes all delivery tickets/ BOL’s. Will load and unload product. Must be able to light up to 50lbs with ease. Must be able to operator a forklift. Must have strong attention to detail. Schedule - 1st shift - Monday - Thursday; 6am to 2:30pm. Overtime would be based on the individual department’s business need.
The Logistics Clerk will timely and safely complete responsibilities:
· Complete documentation and manage inventory levels by utilizing ERP systems.
· Process all paperwork for delivery tickets or BOL’s on incoming deliveries.
· Cycle count to determine stock inventory for orders to be pick and ship.
· Load and unload trucks, perform counts and manually track shipments and inventory.
· Schedule outbound carriers to pick up customers loads, LTL and FTL as they become ready.
· Enter load orders for proper invoicing, bill of lading (BOL), and assignment to a driver.
· Review customer orders/ requests and manually enter data into centralized database.
· Train and maintain excellent interpersonal and communication skills that complement proven creative problem-solving capabilities.
· Direct inbound and outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, and logistics quality management.
· Use Ups/Fed-ex shipping program to process small orders.
Language Skills - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
