Interested candidates must reside in or be willing to relocate to Food Citys District 5 geographical area which includes the Greater Morristown, Dandridge, and Newport, TN areas.

Essential Job Functions:

• Work as part of a team to ensure safety and losses on a daily basis.
• Usage of CCTV to review potential issues and observe current situations for potential loss problems.
• Approach and apprehend shoplifters per company policies and procedures.
• Assist in ensuring recovery of company assets.
• Helping stores to control shrink through monitoring for compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Other security-related duties as directed by Loss Prevention Supervisor.
• Receive and execute direction in a professional manner.
• Hourly position with a varied work schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in Criminal Justice or a minimum of two (2) years of experience in Loss Prevention, Law Enforcement, Military, or Retail Store Management.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be ablet o present oneself in a professional manner in both attitude and appearance.
• Ability to make fast decisions during stressful situations.
• Must be goal-oriented and possess strong work ethics.
• Must be ablet o work with minimal supervision.
• Must be willing to undergo a substance abuse screening and background check.
• Must be able to communicate with people on a variety of levels.
• Must reside in, or be willing to relocate, to the greater Knoxville, TN area.
• Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel between multiple locations.
