• Patient assessments
• Medication administration
• Medication education
• Provide direct patient care
• Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment
• Maintain accurate and complete data and records
• Performs observation rounds
• Communicates therapeutically and age appropriately
• Intervenes with suicidal gestures, inappropriate behaviors, elopements, etc., using proper CPI technique
• Therapeutically communicate with patients. Assists in developing appropriate boundaries and helps to develop social skills
• Directs/redirects behaviors, demonstrating appropriate behavioral consequences. Responds appropriately to impulsivity issues as they relate to age specific criteria
• Recognize and communicate the physical and psychological status of the patients under their care

• One (1) year experience with psychiatric, trauma, or substance abuse patients, preferred.
• Licensed by the State of Georgia – LPN required
• CPR certification required (training provided)
• Crisis Prevention (CPI) required (training provided)
