- Medication administration
- Medication education
- Provide direct patient care
- Maintains a safe, therapeutic environment
- Maintain accurate and complete data and records
- Performs observation rounds
- Communicates therapeutically and age appropriately
- Intervenes with suicidal gestures, inappropriate behaviors, elopements, etc., using proper CPI technique
- Therapeutically communicate with patients. Assists in developing appropriate boundaries and helps to develop social skills
- Directs/redirects behaviors, demonstrating appropriate behavioral consequences. Responds appropriately to impulsivity issues as they relate to age specific criteria
- Recognize and communicate the physical and psychological status of the patients under their care
This position's days and hours will vary, please discuss preferences of 3/4 split or 7on7off at the interview. Night shifts are from 530pm - 600am.

Qualifications:
- One (1) year experience with psychiatric, trauma, or substance abuse patients, preferred.
- Licensed by the State of Georgia – LPN required
- CPR certification required (training provided)
- Crisis Prevention (CPI) required (training provided)
