Our small family owned organization is looking for a Charge Nurse to join our team and provide leadership and direction to our nursing staff. The Charge Nurse will be responsible for providing quality care to our long-term care and geriatric patients, as well as ensuring that all nursing staff are following established protocols. The successful candidate will have a passion for providing compassionate care and will be able to effectively communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patient care needs and develop a plan of care.
• Provide direct patient care and supervise nursing staff in the delivery of patient care.
• Ensure that all nursing staff adhere to established policies and procedures.
• Develop and implement nursing protocols for long-term care patients.
• Assess patient's physical, mental, and emotional status.
• Administer medications as prescribed by the physician.
• Provide education to patients and families about health maintenance and disease prevention.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
