Process Operator in Plover, WI.

Starting $20-23/hr, plus $2,500 sign on bonus.

Schedule:

• 7 days on 7 days off. Overtime paid after 40 hours 1.5x

$15,000 Relocation Bonus (gross). Eligible candidates must live 50+ miles away from the plant.

The Process Operator will be responsible for the safe manufacturing and handling of raw materials and finished products at the plant. Safely operating equipment in the assigned area while maintaining a high degree of quality for our products and working as efficiently as possible for our continuous operation facilities.

Core Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

· Operating mechanized equipment (dryers, conveyors, dewatering equipment, packaging robot) safely, efficiently, and within specifications to achieve throughput and yield goals of the organization. Troubleshooting, inspecting, and fixing issues that arise with equipment as applicable. Identifying and recommending opportunities for improvement.

· Monitoring the operation on computers

· Sampling and testing products

· Preparing bags and packaging materials

· Packing, inspecting, and dumping bags and totes

· Put away finished product in warehouse racking

· Filling tanks or transferring product as necessary

· Performing tasks of varying physical demand such as moving hoses and cleaning equipment

· Maintaining inventory

· Handling movement of and working with sanitation chemicals as appropriate

Work Environment:

· Ability to work in potentially loud environments, different physical environments, or in various weather conditions

· Must be able to move about in the processing areas and be able to do the following: lift and carry 50 pounds, stand and walk for sustained periods; climb stairs and ladders; bend; reach; push; pull, and wear fall protectionharness

Required education and experience:

· High school diploma or GED required

Additional eligibility qualifications:

· Read, write and speak English

· Work in a team environment with minimal supervision

· Strong communication skills to share information, data, and ideas with peers and leaders

· Computer literate a plus

· Able to develop and apply mechanical/problem solving skills, preferred

· Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice and Food Safety, a plus

· Forklift experience, a plus or ability to get forklift certification, required
