The position will be located in Upper St. Clair primarily but could perform orders within other sites throughout Pittsburgh. Our administration site is located in Wilkinsburg, PA.

Maintenance Group Lead Job Purpose/Summary (full description available at https://wfspa.org/careers )

Under the general direction of the Director of Custodial and Facility, with considerable latitude for independent judgment, action, and decision-making, the Group Leader– Maintenance is responsible for planning, coordinating and supervising the materials, equipment and maintenance staff toward efficient, cost-effective attainment of the Facilities Department goals and in compliance with applicable codes, safety and other guidelines/requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma/GED/Technical School Diploma

Experience: Minimum of five years’ experience within maintenance or facilities management; property management experience will be considered

Licenses, Certifications & Clearances:

Carpentry,Electrician, Heating and Cooling, or Plumbing Certificate

FBI,Act 34 and Act 151 Clearances

Valid PA state driver license

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Ability to maintain a safe environment for Maintenance Department, WFS staff, and the public.

Ability to initiate and implement necessary plans to assure proper maintenance of facilities.

Ability to supervise and train, coach and mentor maintenance staff

Ability to serve as an effective communicator.

Ability to support and create a team environment

Proven ability to effectively delegate responsibilities.

Ability to work weekends and holidays if needed. Must be able to work extended hours if needed.
