We have locations across the globe, we’re here for the long-term, and we’re currently hiring Production Operators in our Griffin, GA facility for 2nd, 3rd and 12-hour shifts.

Job Scope:

To lead and coordinate the activities of the Maintenance and Tooling functions to meet/exceed customer and company expectations as it relates to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and other strategic operational goals by supporting manufacturing in ensuring robust performance of production equipment, tooling, and facility equipment.

Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

·· Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions to ensure machines continue to run smoothly, building systems operate efficiently, or the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate.

· Monitor and maintain plans, work schedules and Preventative Maintenance systems.

· Conduct employee training in the maintenance and repair of equipment or assign employee training to experienced workers.

· Ensure all associates are properly trained in equipment operations, work, and safety procedures.

· Reduction of equipment downtime through on-time, accurate completion of PM’s and decrease of reactive maintenance work orders.

· Recommend or implement measures to improve maintenance methods, equipment performance, product quality, and efficiency.

· Update job queue dashboards, ERP and timekeeping systems on a daily basis.

· Enforce all company policies and procedures as well as safety policies regarding the LOTO, equipment operation and required PPE.

· Responds to all requests for maintenance work needed including assigning Work Orders if required.

· Maintain parts supplies to minimize equipment downtime.

· Maintain daily 5S and lean administration.

· Read and analyze charts, work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine maintenance performance.

· Drive continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity, 5S and Lean administration on a daily basis.
Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by management

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:

· Must have 5+ years’ experience in maintenance preferably in a leadership position.

· Must have a high school diploma or equivalent & excellent computer knowledge and data entry skills.

· Understanding of rubber manufacturing processes and tooling.

· Working knowledge of HVAC systems, 480V 3-phase electrical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

· Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.

· Understanding of IATF16949, ISO9001 and ISO13485 standards as related to maintenance functions.

· Be an active listener and critical thinker with attention to detail, good people skills, and ability to work in very busy, fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
