Maintenance Personager

Responsibilities include:

• Managing a safe work environment.
• Communicating with direct reports and making sure they are trained to perform work safely. Including but not limited to: Hot work, confined space entry and LOTO.
• Managing all aspects of maintenance: Planned, Preventative and Reactive.
• Develop and maintaining the training program for Maintenance Supervisors and Technicians.
• Liaise with Production and Engineering departments, optimizing machine availability and reduce down time.
• Create cost-effective maintenance programs.

Experience / Qualifications requirements:

• +8 years experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• +5 years experience managing/supervising maintenance team.
• Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic maintenance.
• MS application experience: Excel, Word, and email.

Preferred additional experience:

• ABB robotic maintenance.
• Lean manufacturing tools, specifically 5S.
• Union workforce management.
• Troubleshooting PLC's, drives and electrical controls.

The site in easily commutable from the following regions: Alsip, Munster, Portage, Valparaiso, Liverpool, Gary, Whiting, St John, Crown Point, Chicago Heights, Homewood, Merrillville, Shorewood Forest, Winfield.
