Your responsibilities

SUMMARY: The Maintenance Shared Service Lead will work directly with the Maintenance Lead Technicians and the Maintenance Supervisor towards the vision of the Maintenance Department. This person will lead projects and coordinate support from the maintenance shared service team as well as own the PM processes on all production equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Follows all Company Safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties to self and others are performed in a safe manner.
  • Performs all preventative and predictive maintenance.
  • Maintains Maximo updates and acts as Maximo Key User in the company.
  • Responsible for retrofit investigation directly with machine and parts supplier
  • Plans extensive repairs on production equipment attains quotes and organizes suppliers.
  • Schedules the manufacturing and repair of tooling using our shop equipment.
  • Develops and implements maintenance procedures and PM activities as well as maintains PM program through Maximo.
  • Increases productivity and availability of company equipment through defined processes.
  • Records attendance, performance reviews/skill matrix, and disciplinary action of all employees within the shared service area of maintenance, as necessary on assigned shift.
  • Supports Lead Maintenance Technician and Maintenance Supervisor with all matters regarding spare parts investigations and PM's.
  • Serves as the first point of contact for spare part buyer regarding all obsolete spare parts.
  • Maintains production equipment through a well-organized PM plan so the line is capable of producing quality parts within the allotted cycle time.
  • Maintains proper housekeeping standards at all times.
  • Participates in supplier training for new and existing systems and equipment.
  • Supports continuous improvement efforts by identifying and reducing inefficiencies.
  • Schedules maintenance activities as well as create routine and critical parts lists for new and existing equipment.
  • Assists in new equipment installation and acceptance phases.

Your profile

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for Spare Part Buyer, Preventive Maintenance, and Maintenance Shop.

Education and/or Experience:

Associate's degree (A.S.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school preferred. 5 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Environmental/waste handling practices preferred.
