Hours: Primarily Monday through Friday, days, with some evening/weekend/off-hour availability necessary.
Location: Harrisonburg, VA - we have two locations in Harrisonburg, 2347 Kratzer Road and 1025 Willow Spring Road. This position has oversight of both locations.
As our Maintenance & Engineering Supervisor, you will;
- Supervise all maintenance and building employees and promote teamwork, safety, environmental concerns, quality and ISO procedures, employee development, productivity and good housekeeping practices (including 5S).
- Manage projects to ensure timeliness, cost effectiveness, proper resource allocation, and communication.
- Provide facilities management for the physical plant and equipment.
- Look for and implement continuous improvement opportunities and throughput improvement in terms of safety, people, quality, cost and service.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor Degree preferred. Education requirements may be substituted for 5+ years experienced gained through training and experience in all phases of maintenance, both electrical and mechanical, in the printing industry.
- Project management experience.
- Proven leadership of a team of 20 or more technicians preferred
