A Plant in Bay City is looking for a Maintenance Technican to join there team.
The position will cover two warehouse locations.
Duties include:
- Perform Preventative maintenance and basic repairs on machinery/mechanical equipment in an industrial enviroment
- Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and systems in orer to isolate problems, and disassemble, repair/replace basic components as necessary
- Perform routine PM work on various equpment and mechanical systems , such as electric forklift batteries, chiller unit coil cleaning, HAVAC systems, hydralic pallet jacks, mixers, pumps and steam generator
- Maintain spare parts inventory
- Support Plant manager with scheduling and execution of maintenance tasks, and completion of all required follow-up items
Requirements:
- Ability to operate machinery and technical equipment
- Construction skills such as carpentry, painting, masonry and plumbing
- Moderate understanding in electrical, pneumatic, hydralic, welding and pipe fitting
- Mechincally inclined with ability to learn on the job with new or unfamiliar equipment or systems
- 3 years of Maintenance technician experience
Pay rate is $17 to 2 an hour, depending on experience.
Schedule is Monday - Friday, 10am to 6pm, with some overtime required
