Maintenance Technician

Key performance areas

Assist with preventive maintenance and repairs, maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment to include, but not limited to, engines, motors, pneumatic tools, production equipment according to diagrams, sketches, operating manuals, manufacturer’s specifications and environmental health and safety guidelines. Interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics.

Additionally, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for:

• Clearing clogged drains and replacing fixtures.
• Assist with maintaining parts and/or replace defective parts; using hand tools, power tools, precision measuring and testing instruments, hoist and cranes.
• Assist with adjusting functional parts and devices and control instruments using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs and straightedges.
• Clean and lubricate machine parts such as shafts, pulleys, gears and bearings using rags, brushes, grease gun and oil.
• Replace machine belts.
• Assist with preventive maintenance on equipment listed in PM Pro and repairs requested on maintenance log.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• EHS accountability requires position to maintain 5S in work area for a safe work environment.
• Demonstrate respect and commitment to the IMS system (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018) taking accountability for its effectiveness and continued improvements.

Your profile

The Maintenance Technician will have a High School Diploma or GED. Minimum of (1) to three (3) years’ professional related work experience.
