Ironstate Properties is premier owner and manager of apartment rentals in Northern New Jersey. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician position for our rental buildings located in Hoboken, New Jersey.

This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment. Performing preventative maintenance.
• Handling basic repairs such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.
• Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues
• Install appliances and equipment
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)
• Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
• Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 1,5+ years of proven maintenance experience
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems and ability to perform basic repairs on these systems
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
