MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - (Senior Living)

We have the job for you! Mattison Crossing at Manalapan Ave. is looking to hire team players to join our maintenance team as a FULL TIME MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN! Painting, wall repair, light plumbing, light electrical, General apartment maintenance and related skills.*

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance of the physical plant, exterior and interior common areas, and individual resident units at the Community, in accordance with the company's mission, vision, and values.

Responsibilities

• Preparing resident rooms for new occupants.
• Handling general maintenance repair needs at the community.
• Maintaining the grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards.
• Working to problem solve, plan, organize, communicate, and cooperate with others to ensure that projects are completed.
• Keeping accurate maintenance records of work done.

Qualifications

• Basic construction and repair experience
• Prior experience as a Maintenance Worker in an Assisted Living Facility a BIG PLUS but not required
• Ability to interact with the Residents with respect and dignity
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of similar experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• The ability to stay organized and multi-task.
