Based in our Eden Prairie location, you will have an opportunity to utilize your troubleshooting skills to perform maintenance and repair of complex production machinery and mechanical equipment.

This position is for 2nd Shift (M-TH; 3 PM - 1:30 AM)

AS A 2ND SHIFT MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN TRAINEE YOU WILL :

• Work in a production environment with Safety as the primary goal.
• Work in a class 1000 cleanroom (Gown, Shoe Covers, Mask, and Gloves) utilizing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks on production equipment.
• Utilize engineering drawings, schematics, diagrams, and manuals to understand, diagnose issues and repair production equipment.
• Work with maintenance tracking software (CMMS).
• Work as part of a team learning to support all areas of production. Willing to be flexible moving between production areas based on business need.
• Demonstrate basic repair and hand tool knowledge, basic troubleshooting skills and basic mechanical and electrical skills

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Actively pursuing an Associate’s level degree in technical field
• Ability to work 2nd shift hours (M-TH; 3 PM - 1:30 AM)
• Legal authorization to work in the United States

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Maintenance or job-related experience
• Enjoys problem solving and troubleshooting activities to fix or repair equipment
• Associate's Degree in Automatic Systems and Robotics or Electronics Technology
