What you will be doing
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living for HHAs (Bathing, grooming, toiletting, ambulation...)
- Take clients on walks, trips to social events, assistance with hobbies, or run an errand
- Perform light housekeeping
- Medication reminders
- Companion services
- Prepare a home cooked meal (you don’t need to be a gourmet chef)
- You will not provide medical, nursing or skilled services
What you bring along
- Successful completed HHA/CNA state required course is mandatory
- Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job
- Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care
- Read, write, speak and understand Spanish as needed for the job
- Homemaker Companion must be able to lift at least 15 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Reliable transportation is required.
