What does a successful Implementations Manager do?

Output Solutions at Fiserv delivers business-critical communications to financial institutions, health and property/casualty insurance providers, billers, retailers, travel and entertainment companies and advertising agencies nationwide. With solutions including transactional document production and delivery, card manufacturing and personalization and direct marketing services, we assist our clients streamline operations to contain costs, while establishing customer dedication and generating incremental revenue. The Manager role is key in ensuring we delivery quality solutions to our customers, and we continue to improve our processes to reduce cost and improve speed to market.

What you will do:

  • Provide sophisticated problem solving, decision making, and technical skills within one or more functional areas
  • Use diplomacy and the authority to influence or determine outcome or resolutions
  • Identify and coordinate resources across business lines to achieve objectives and meet client needs
  • Pinpoint resources and develop opportunities for staff to expand knowledge and skills into a focused project management organization
  • Evaluate employee performance on difficult work assignments and recommend development opportunities as necessary
  • Demonstrate the ability to outline a basic strategy for incorporating and instilling the company's vision and mission, goals and/or objectives
  • Run workflow and approvals of projects within Fiserv tools
  • Establish client standards for implementations and projects
  • Provide client reporting/updates at business reviews
  • Make complex decisions and recommendations under limited direction and using high degree of initiative and independent judgment.

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably in MIS or Technology
  • 5+ years progressive management experience, including large-scale program and project management and personnel management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools including Microsoft Project and or Microsoft Project Server

What would be great to have:

  • Experienced Business Analyst in a Financial Technology environment
  • Proven success in delivering projects within budget and specified timeframes, while ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Proven problem-solving skills from problem assessment to solution selection
