The Food Away from Home (FAFH) Sales Planning Manager will lead development and execution of our go-to-market strategy for FAFH Distributors & Regional Accounts channel and enable sales initiatives for growth. This role will provide sales strategy thought leadership to internal and external stakeholders, including our sales and marketing teams and functional leadership. The position will work directly with customer-facing account leads and cross-functional peers in the analysis of opportunities and related forecasts . The position should be able to execute with excellence, develop strong cross-functional partnerships and communication, and think critically to continuously optimize our sales growth opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Translate brand, category and market trends into actionable business observations and recommendations for sales teams. Provide strategic sales planning to the business, driving annual business plans, customer opportunities and MAPS strategies. Lead day to day US Broker relationship, with focus on data & analytics team Leverage all available analytic tools (including customer portal data management) to develop trade strategies maximizing McCormick performance metrics Support Distributor & Regional Accounts sales pipeline through project engagement and Salesforce oversight

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Sales, Marketing, Finance, or related field Minimum 5 years’ experience in in a sales focused environment; foodservice experience highly preferred. 2 years analytical experience building fact-based presentations or direct selling experience to customers. Must have proven skills to adapt to and communicate with a wide variety of personalities and business settings as the role involves frequent interactions with cross-functional partners, sales leadership, and field sales teams. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Independent, goal-oriented self-starter capable of contributing to strategies and driving programs. Proven leadership, report preparation, planning and project management skills. Proven problem solver, with appropriate attention to detail. Ability to listen, be resourceful and interpret information from a variety of sources. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Excellent Computer Skills - To include Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Power point), Sales Technology (Salesforce), and Sales Data (SAP, EDW).
