WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for an innovative Learning & Development (L&D) Manager to be part of an impactful team delivering new capabilities and value to the enterprise. The L&D Manager will bring strong expertise and the ability to think about learning & development in new ways.
As part of the CCO Learning & Development team, the L&D Manager will help prepare Nike and partner teams for large-scale changes through deliberate and thoughtful training strategy and execution. Within your role, you will think of creative and innovative ways to develop and implement training plans and learning experiences that elevate the learning journey for stakeholders and assist in coordinated activation and adoption.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
If this is you, you’ll be working across the broader CCO Transition Management team, Product Management, Engineering, UX, Operations and with our business partners to develop, maintain, and facilitate user-centric, innovative and engaging learning programs for technical, systems, process and new hire onboarding training. Continually evaluating and seeking ways to improve upon a learner-centric program by listening, anticipating needs, and creating optimal learning conditions will be essential.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
This position is a strong individual contributor who reports to the CCO L&D Director and will work in coordination with other L&D Managers, Change Managers, Product Management, and other key partners to create consistent learning journeys that empower users and fuel a growth mindset.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelors degree in Adult Learning, Education, Instructional Design or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 5 years of learning and development experience in a corporate environment, with a focus on large-scale transformational change
- Instructional Design experience, defining learning objectives, conducting needs assessments, designing and developing learning paths and curriculum
- Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools and LMS systems
- Project Management experience in developing and implementing project workbacks and timelines
- Familiarity with the Consumer Product Model and Agile/Scaled Agile development approach
- Proven experience communicating across a complex matrix on a corporate, regional and functional basis
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Applies current learning best practices and methodologies
- Works with partners to understand, evaluate and improve the learning experience
- Creates and updates quick reference guides, PowerPoint presentations, training videos, e-learning, and other training materials and tools
- Confidently facilitates training virtually, in person and hybrid, to small and large audiences
- Ability to balance multiple time-bound projects while maintaining keen attention to detail
- Tolerance for ambiguity, strong prioritization skills, and the ability to work well with a large variety of personalities at all levels of business
