Job Description Summary:

  • Determines the demand for products and services offered by the organization by managing marketing programs and research and analyses.
  • May be responsible for a market segment including development, marketing research and analyses, pricing and advertising.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, finance, marketing or other directly related discipline.
  • Five (5) years directly related experience in planning and analyses.
  • Demonstrated computer skills.
  • Strong basic management, human relations, communication and analytical skills.
  • Directly related advanced degrees may offset experience requirements.
  • Directly related experience may offset degree requirements.


Job Specific Information:


The successful candidate will provide vision, leadership, and subject matter expertise in order to advance the current gaps and the future state for Network 2.0 and other Transformation activities. The role requires leadership, orchestration and communication across many teams, including Operations, IT, Marketing and others. A working knowledge of Transformation, Operational impacts and IT prioritization processes is important.
  • Act as a commercial voice for the Network 2.0, One FedEx and Transformation activities
  • Lead the team in advancing multiple initiatives through the DRIVE and IT prioritization processes successfully
  • Identify, prioritize and communicate the impact of multiple gaps as Network 2.0 and Transformation efforts rollout
  • Participate and present in high-level executive engagements as a subject matter expert for Transformation
  • Develop and lead a team responsible for various functions (strategy, business case development, commercial execution, etc.)
  • Hire, mentor and develop a high-performing team as required


Skills/Knowledge/Experience Considered a Plus:

  • Demonstrated track record of managing or leading a team of experienced professionals
  • Experience in managing, leading or successfully navigating IT prioritization processes with compelling business cases
  • Subject matter expertise in Network 2.0, Transformation and the associated operational impacts is a plus
  • Experience in Operating Companies or operations is a plus


Domicile Location:

  • This position is domiciled in Memphis, TN
  • The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.


Relocation:
