About the Job
CHANEL is looking for a Manager to join our Replenishment team in our Fragrances & Beauty (F&B) division in New York. Reporting to the Group Director of Owned Account Planning & Replenishment, you will play a leading role in supporting inventory & replenishment strategy for our direct-to-consumer (Owned) accounts to meet sales & shipment plans, inventory turn and service level objectives. This role interfaces with multiple functions in our division and is a key partner for our Digital, Retail and Field teams. Our ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience and a passion for inventory strategy and replenishment optimization.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Oversee and manage weekly replenishment for all Owned accounts from our warehouse to various points of distribution for all on-going basic inventory product categories
- Manage newness inventory execution for all Owned accounts from pre-go live to post-go live (inventory allocations, PO lifecycle from order creation to delivery, post go-live inventory performance analysis, etc.)
- Ensure correct balance of inventory is allocated based on sale forecasts while maximizing service level, product performance & opportunities, as well as meeting WOS targets
- Serve as a key business partner for our Digital, Retail and Field Teams to understand sales priorities, inventory opportunities and market dynamics to influence replenishment strategy
- Drive the success of our new Stand Alone Boutique (SAB) openings from a Replenishment perspective (creating new door opening orders, new campaign allocations, inventory execution based on SAB Animation Calendar, monitor trends post opening, etc.)
- Perform weekly Replenishment & Inventory reporting analyzing replenishment models, assortment optimization opportunities, sell-through metrics, WOS/MOC, etc. to identify improvement opportunities and product performance gaps
- Perform weekly inventory risk mitigation; evaluate SKUs with low coverage, potential lost sales and impact to sales plan; identify product coverage to mitigate sales gap and minimize liabilities
- Manage, communicate, and execute return of goods on discontinued and post-holiday items
- Monitor basic replenishment and newness PO lifecycle from order creation to delivery; raise PO discrepancies, cuts, shipment errors, etc. to management and partner with Service Flow Team for resolution
- Support Group Director, Account Planning & Replenishment in key meetings/initiatives (Monthly Pre-Val, U.S. Forecast Updates, Stock/Sales Review, etc.) by providing frequent in-depth business analysis (BOM/EOM, Sell-through, turn, WOS, etc.) at the store/category/product level
- Support Group Director, Account Planning & Replenishment on internal replenishment based cross-functional & multi-faceted project execution
- Oversee Replenishment team, acting as a manager to one direct report

- Possess strong organizational and time management skills
- Learning agility and ability to creatively problem-solve in a fast-paced environment; ability to balance multiple tasks
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization
Position Logistics:
- 3 years of experience, ideally within an Operations capacity (Replenishment, Store Planning, Forecasting, Distribution, Supply Chain, etc.)
- 1+ years of direct team management experience
- Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in a Supply Chain/Merchandising/Planning field
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $64,200 through $105,000. Base salary is one component of the total compensation for this position. Other components [may/will] include additional compensation, benefits and perks.
