About the Role:

As the Marketing Director, you will lead a core team of marketing and sales associates and be part of the leadership team across the Bainbridge practice. This involves working cross-functionally with our data analytics, M&A and Consulting teams, developing a robust marketing strategy, and executing in an omni-channel environment to maximize lead generation. Your day-to-day work will include managing an integral part of outbound client communication, marketing, relationship building, blog posts, whitepapers, proposal development for B2B sales.

We develop and use the latest social media, digital data analytics, email, and direct marketing channels, and are looking for innovators to join our team to keep us at the front-line of B2B marketing science.

Your Experience:

MS/MBA in Marketing or related fields, and at least 7 years of experience in marketing or 4 years of core B2B marketing to the C-Suite and HNWIs. Additionally, past expertise in M&A/Strategy Consulting is a strong plus, since this role directly interfaces across Bainbridge practices. You are an intentional leader who enjoys a fast-paced environment and thrives on collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to achieve excellent results. You love homing in on the details and producing exceptional work for effectively marketing services and products. Empathy with your target market comes naturally to you and you have a flair for understanding and communicating with them.

Specific Experiences:

  • 7+ years of marketing leadership experience in a fast-paced environment: FinTech, B2B, Investment Banking or Professional-services expertise preferred.

  • Have a thorough understanding of tried-and-true marketing tools, strategies, and tactics, combined with a knowledge of how and when to apply them.

  • Direct experience in developing marketing strategies to drive growth & conversion.

  • On the forefront of innovative marketing channels and technologies, with a framework to test and apply them to our business in a creative and rigorous manner.

  • A disruptor who understands our target market and has a desire to break the mold.

  • Desire to work in a rapidly changing environment that requires both long-term strategic thinking and near-term execution.

  • An "owner" personality: You're biased toward action, a great collaborator, and an expert simplifier. You never stop pushing towards clarity and delivery.

  • Excellent project management, interpersonal, pitching, communication, and presentation skills.

Your Work at Bainbridge:

You will lead a broad range of marketing initiatives and programs. As the Marketing Director, you will oversee developing a comprehensive strategic plan and put in place the framework to execute effectively. Your role is dynamic to your function and responsibilities will include:


  • Revamping the marketing function at Bainbridge, developing standard campaign procedures, reports procedures and effective frameworks to drive lead generation and conversion.

  • Development and execution of firm's marketing strategy with tactical campaigns to achieve high industry brand recognition, lead development, positioning for new markets and customers, and promotions to expand global market share of the advisory practices.

  • Creating & effectively managing a digital brand that is consistent with the high performance and technology of the firm.

  • Managing outbound B2B marketing campaigns (phone, print, online, and email), generating frameworks to monitor campaign performance, with a focus on managing marketing campaigns on a regular basis and the entire process involved after.

  • Essential cross-functional coordination with Consulting, M&A and technology development practices.

  • Helping launch new platforms and brands including those for affiliate Bainbridge companies.

  • Supporting the creation of new sales and marketing materials such as proposals, brochures, handouts, and pitch books for institutional investment products and service.

  • Supporting the maintenance of firm CRM database – input and update investor contact information, meeting notes, and investment preferences

  • Attending (as required) industry conferences, trade shows, and other related events to assist in the promotion of Bainbridge’s brand and services, as required.
