JOB DESCRIPTION

Martini & Rossi is launching a new team of Market Specialists across 5 major markets in the US. The main responsibility of the part time Specialists is to build the brand among leading retail (off premise) and on premise accounts. The program will focus on cultivating account relationships, executing promotional samplings, upgrading merchandise and educating both staff and consumers. As a Martini & Rossi Market Specialist, you serve as an extension of the sales and marketing teams to engage consumers and staff to drive trial, advocacy and build brand equity through key programs.

ABOUT YOU

With a Creator’s mentality you are the visible image and face of M&R through consumer and staff channels. Working in collaboration with the local Market Manager, you will play a critical role in spreading the brand message and developing long lasting relationships within your account lists. This role is split between on and off premise and you must be available to work approximately 15 hours per week and weekends and nights.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Conduct tastings, both on & off premise as well as staff and distributor tastings.
• Execute trade-specific events as well as brand programming.
• Educate key stakeholders about all aspects of the brand including: history, process and drink strategy.
• Monitor & report on competitive activity.
• Reporting & administrative tasks: event and training recaps, photographs, expense reports, etc.

Responsibilities:

Dedicated account with on and off premise.

• Build the brand within their dedicated account lists
• Program focuses on cultivating account relationships, executing promotional samplings and educating both staff and consumers
• Schedule and activate KPIs within an assigned On and Off-premise Target Account
• Support sell-in and sell-through of Martini & Rossi in selected On and Off Premise accounts
• Key focus will be Fiero and Non-Alc
• Cultivate relationships with staff & decision-makers at accounts on the list to drive recommendation of M&R
• Schedule and execute sampling activities to promote recommendations and grow conversion rates
• Increase awareness of M&R through education and engagement
• Improve the brand's presence by implementing merchandising strategies
• Gather competitive trends and information from the market, social media, and transform this information into insights and opportunities for the brand
• Weekly report including objectives, weekly accomplishments, and surveying for the previous week
• Social Posting
• Be the face of Martini & Rossi in your home market

Financial & Reporting:

• Specialist will be paid by activation
• Ensure the delivery of KPI’s on time and within budget
• Effectively report all financial transactions and commitments to leadership t
• Utilize the TEAM Reporting Tool to plan, manage and report on all activity in of

activation

• Track time effectively to plan, manage and report on all activity in the field
• Provide requested materials for recap of all events in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Comfortable acting as the face of the brand in their home market

• Has a pulse on culture, food and drink in their markets
• Residing in their home market for 1+ years
• Aware / knowledge of local influencers, bloggers, Chef’s, photographers, taste makers in their home market
• Interested in spirits, culture and brand programming events
• Active on social media
• Hospitality experience
