Description:
Work daily to ensure the flow of materials through the organization to meet and exceed the established production schedule. This position will be responsible to perform material handling & inventory tasks that include, but are not limited to shipping, receiving, stocking and delivery of supplies, and stocked materials both manually and utilizing forklifts & scissor lifts. Inventory control responsibilities shall include the performing of cycle counts, picking and delivering parts, processing transactions and reporting discrepancies. Must follow all safety guidelines and requirements to maintain an accident free workplace.

- This position requires close collaboration with the shop floor with both verbal & written communication.
- Be a member of a flexible workforce through cross training throughout the entire Materials Dept.
- Understand and demonstrate material handling & inventory control standards.
- Work in full compliance with safety regulations.
- Be forthcoming with process improvement efforts and display a "make this better" attitude.
- Handles incoming and outgoing shipments by physically checking them for defects as well as accuracy of quantity and types. Reports and replaces any defective item prior to packing.
- Processes customers’ orders by pulling product, confirming all serial and batch numbers match the invoice, and items are properly packed, labeled, and loaded onto shipment vehicle in a safe and timely manner.
- Prepares invoices and delivery orders including posting of outbound deliveries using pre-designated software, ensuring that all transactions are recorded in company database.
- Operates forklift to transport shipments from the storage area to the pallet.
- Handles space arrangements for incoming shipments in the storage areas.
- Ensures that the warehouse is cleaned and maintained at all times.
- Take part in general inventory procedures like daily cycle counts, and year-end inventory.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Intermediate computer aptitude.
- Experience processing RMA's required.
- Experience with cycle counting and root cause analysis for system to physical reconciliation.
- Experienced with Shipping and Receiving processes.
- Experience using the UPS/FEDEX shipping system.
- Must be detail oriented and able to meet deadlines.
- 3 to 4 years of experience with forklifts / overhead crane operating experience.
- Ability to learn company ERP system quickly.
- Some knowledge of international shipping documents.
- Demonstrate professional behavior.
- Excellent attendance and work record.
- Strong analytic / problem solving skills / strong written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Able to stand 10hrs/day.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs continuously.
- Able to perform repetitive tasks; high physical activity.
- Able to reach, bend, stoop, climb, and kneel.
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- PPE: Steel-toes, and safety glasses required at all times.

Salary: $18.50 - $21.00 per hour.
