Center Operations
We are looking for candidates that are available throughout Summer of 2023, Fall of 2023 & Spring of 2024. (no summer only candidates). Mathnasium is open 2pm-7pm, Monday -Thursday, and from 12pm-3pm on Saturdays. Instructor must be available to work a minimum of 2 weekdays, preferably 3-4 weekdays. Shifts last anywhere from 3-5 hours. We are looking to fill the position as soon as possible. Starting wage is $15.50/hour.
Math Instructor / Tutor:
Our math-only learning center in Santa Clarita & Valencia have openings for a math instructor to work with students in K-12th grade. Curriculum and materials are pre-determined for each student, and instructor will apply the teaching methods presented during training. Instructor will also help students with their homework and test preparation.
Required Qualifications:
- Exceptional math skills through Algebra I
- Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to professionally interact with students and parents
- Energetic and confident personality
- Should have basic knowledge of high level math, including Geometry, Algebra 2, Trig, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus; knowledge of these subjects is helpful. The more you know, the better.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
