The Shop Tire and Service Center is currently hiring for a full-time Mechanic / Auto Technician to complete vehicle maintenance and repair jobs in the Elk River, MN area. This vehicle maintenance position earns a competitive salary of up to $100,000 per year, based on skills and experience, as well as a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

DAY-TO-DAY

Our auto repair shop hours are Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 6:00 pm. No weekend shifts are required.

In this automotive position, you provide essential services that allow our customers to get their cars back on the road. With great attention to detail, you review work orders and complete jobs as instructed. Your mechanical aptitude comes in handy as you competently complete a variety of jobs, including replacing tires, changing brake pads, and repairing electrical systems. Keeping your customers' satisfaction in mind, you treat their cars with the highest level of care.

As a respectful and considerate employee, you keep your space clean and ensure equipment and tools are properly maintained. Safety is your top priority, and you always double-check your work to make sure vehicles are ready to roll. REQUIREMENTS FOR A MECHANIC / AUTO TECHNICIAN

• Automotive knowledge and industry experience
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job, including lifting, bending, stooping, and standing
