ADESA is looking for great Auto Mechanic Parts Removal & Installation (R&I) techs to join our mechanic shop team! This team plays a crucial role in our vehicle reconditioning and sale-ready process. Auto Mechanic Parts - R&I Technician

• Reviews repair plan R.O. as assigned
• Repairs vehicles per R.O. and in accordance with OEM standards
• Ensures correct parts are ordered/received as necessary
• Inspects for hidden or missed damage and provides notification if additional repairs/parts are necessary
• Disassembly of parts, accessories, and panels for proper access as necessary
• Uses proper equipment to remove parts to appropriate spec prior to next steps
• Inspects repair areas for imperfections and addresses each as necessary
• Reassembles parts, and accessories if applicable
• Maintains and wears all required safety and health PPE

Intermediate & Master Technicians

• Multi-point inspections
• PM's, Certifications
• Diagnostics
• A/C & Heater system checks
• Brakes inspection and system check
• Electrical Charging system check
• Clutch lubrication

• Cooling Systems inspections and minor repairs
• Electrical Cranking Systems for charge and perform minor repairs or replacements
• Lighting Systems inspection and minor repairs to wiring and electrical accessories
• Drive Axles inspections and maintenance
• Driveline inspections and lubrication

• Gas Engines inspection and oil replacement
• Fuel Systems inspections and repair of lines and tubes

Tire and Wheel Maintenance including air pressure check and tread depth; replace if needed with mount and dismount as well as rotation

We Require:

• Pre-employment criminal background check and motor vehicle report
• A valid Driver's License and the ability to operate standard or automatic vehicles
