The Mechanical Auto Advisor earns a competitive pay rate starting at $21.00 per hour

What you will do in this role

• Review contract coverage terms and conditions.
• Adjudicate claims in a cost-effective manner.
• Document files to include all key activities regarding estimates, repairs and evaluation summary reflecting and revisions.
• Ensure claim files are properly documented and claims coding is correct.
• Provide accurate, courteous, and timely information to all external and internal customers concerning claim status and other claim inquiries.
• Other duties may be assigned.

What you need to join our team

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Experience as a Service Advisor, Service Manager, Service Technician, Auto Parts/Sales Counter, Shop Owner or Mechanical Claims Adjuster required
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret contracts, claim procedure guides, and coverage pages with a technical/analytical focus working within established systems, standards, and procedures.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers making decisions based on policies and procedures with the support of management.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
