Job Description
Apollo Pain Clinic, LLC, provides comprehensive interventional pain management services in North Indianapolis area 4 days a week and Frankfort, IN for 1 day a week. We are a fast growing practice. Brief Job Description Medical Assistant:
- Check-in and check-out patients
- Manage patient schedule. Schedule urgent and routine visits as appropriate
- Assist in entering and recording patient information to medical record electronically
- Assist office-based clinical procedures and interventions
- Manage phone system by answering phone calls, voice mails and patient concerns
- Obtain Urine Drug Screens as appropriate
- Explaining/documenting laboratory results and pathology results
- Manage prescription refills, authorizations and INSPECT
- Explaining procedures and treatments
- Prior authorization of medications and procedures
Requirements of a Medical Assistant:
- Associates degree or equivalent
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Healthcare management experience would be advantageous. Will train the right candidate
- Ability to organize time and schedule to meet constantly changing workloads
- Excellent communication skills and customer service
- Exhibit good professional judgement
- Flexibility and willingness to grow with the practice
- Must be able and willing to travel a reasonable distance in Central Indiana.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
