We are seeking Medical Assistants to join our team. The successful candidate will support our Physicians, Nurse Practitioner, and Physician Assistants, and work collaboratively with clinical support staff to provide patient care in our offices.

Job Requirements:

Experience using electronic medical records. (NEUS uses UroChart, a user-friendly specialty EMR.)

Compassion, integrity, patience and outstanding people skills.

Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.

The desire and ability to collaborate with colleagues as necessary to provide quality care.

Essential Functions (Include but are not limited to):

1. Room patients, obtain vitals, patient history and reason for seeking care.

2. Process telephone messages.

3. Follow prescription refill procedures.

4. Assist with medical procedures as needed (e.g., cystoscopies, vasectomies) confidentially.

5. Run urinalysis and enter results into EMR.

6. Send positive cultures to the provider for treatment, call in prescriptions and inform patient of UTI.

7. Obtain prior authorizations for medications.

8. Travel to satellite offices and other duties as required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
