Bee Healthy Pediatrics is a new pediatric practice in Las Cruces, NM. We are fast-paced, supportive and fun and love getting to know our staff and patients.
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate team member to help support our medical team and patients. The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience as a medical biller & coder, have a strong work ethic, and is organized. The successful candidate for this position will enjoy working with a group of highly skilled individuals who are committed to supporting the needs of our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively and professionally communicate with patients/parents, providers and other medical personnel.
- Properly coding services, procedures, diagnoses, and treatments
- Preparing and sending invoices or claims for payment
- Correcting rejected claims
- Tracking payments
- Following up with patients and insurance companies about outstanding bills
- Must be profient typer, have good computer skills and quick learner of EMR systems.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Must be able to pass a drug test and background screening.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $19.00 per hour
