Position Summary: The Medical Receptionist projects a positive image and identifies needs and expectations by providing excellent patient service and executing scheduling procedures. This position works onsite in our call center.
Responsibilities:
  • Follows practice procedures for appointment entry, scheduling, and rescheduling appointments.
  • Follows practice procedures for clinical messaging in the EMR/EHR.
  • Works online appointment requests as delegated by Manager.
  • Interprets appointment requests and schedules patient appointments based on clinic policies and physician preferences.
  • Answers questions regarding patient appointments as requested.
  • Safeguards patient information and ensures all information remains confidential.
Qualifications:
  • At least one year of experience in check-in, check-out, call-center, or a combination role.
  • Experience with Centricity is a plus.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
