The Law Office of Jerome, Salmi & Kopis, LLC, is seeking a full-time Medical Record/Billing Paralegal with 1-3 years of experience for our Fairview Heights Office. We are a small, client-focused law firm practicing in Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability. The ideal candidate will have good client communication skills and be willing to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Medical billing experience in a Workers’ Compensation practice is preferred. The successful candidate will have extensive contact with medical providers and insurance carriers, so the position requires great communication skills. Excellent organizational skills are also necessary for this position.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent grammar and spelling
- Attention to detail and ability to correct own mistakes on the fly
- Empathetic and able to listen, not just hear
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage multiple phone lines
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Ability to learn new CRMs and Case Management technology
- Willing to learn new ways of doing things, while continuing to look for better ways
- Dependable and willing to arrive on time ready to work each day
Hours: This is a full-time position with the hours of 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
