Qualifications

Mental Health Technician Job Requirements:

• Good communication and relationship skills including the ability to set boundaries, hold confidences, establish and maintain trust
• Experience working with people struggling with mental health or substance use and/or pursuing a degree in nursing, psychology, sociology, pre-med, social work, counseling or other behavioral science related majors.

About Prairie St. John's

Prairie St. John’s offers a full psychiatric and addiction continuum of care. This continuum of care includes inpatient hospitalization, Partial Hospitalization (day treatment), residential treatment, intensive outpatient services.

While many patients are from the Fargo, North Dakota, Moorhead, Minnesota, and surrounding areas, we also serve individuals and their families from throughout Minnesota, North Dakota and other states.

We have helped thousands. We will work with you to get your life back on track and develop skills that will help you keep it on track in recovery.

January 2023 we will be moving into our brand new hospital. There we will have 130 beds instead of 110. We are looking forward to helping more people in our new space.
