$62,217 - $77,772 a year
- A Master's Degree and at least one year experience in a CASSP system, school, or employed by a licensed mental health services agency or subcontracted agency, required
- Documented training and experience in positive behavior supports, team coordination, agency collaboration, applied and cognitive behavioral counseling
- Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License
- Current PA Child Abuse History, PA Criminal and FBI Fingerprint Clearance, required
- Excellent medical, prescription, vision, and dental coverage at minimal cost to employee
- If medical, prescription, vision, and dental coverage are not needed, generous opt-out payments are available
- 1.5% of annual salary flexible benefit cash payment (to a maximum of $1,000)

A vacancy currently exists for a Mental Health Therapist within the Division of Student Services at the Chester County Intermediate Unit, located at Octorara school district in Chester County. This is a 190 day (10-month) position.
The CCIU is currently offering a sign on bonus of up to $1,500 for candidates who apply and are subsequently hired for a position between March 16, 2023, and October 31, 2023. More information will be shared with eligible individuals at the time of hire.

- Licensed mental health professional (LSW, LCSW, or LPC) required
Duties & Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for facilitating and providing direct therapeutic interventions consisting of group and individual therapy, treatment planning, designing and implementing effective interventions and strategies to promote therapeutic recovery.
The therapist is the lead team member responsible for coordinating therapeutic intervention. The therapist will be responsible for completing required documentation such as treatment and discharge plans, psycho-social history, daily progress notes, and insurance forms. The therapist maintains close communication with the child's parent(s) to monitor and promote progress.
Salary (2023-24 rates):
Project Staff, Band 14 (190 days/10 months)
$43,928 - $54,911 annually - (
Placement on band is based on direct full-time experience as a licensed clinician)
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 190 days (10 months), 7.5 hrs/day.
