Mid-Level Designer
Prunuske, Chatham, Inc. (PCI) is a multi-disciplinary ecological restoration and planning

firm based in Sebastopol, California looking for a landscape architect/designer to join

our design team. We offer planning, science, design, and construction services to

clients throughout Northern California and are seeking a creative individual with

approximately 5 years of professional experience. Top candidates will have excellent

written and verbal communication skills, strong graphics and experience in the design

development and construction documentation process. Restoration or open space

Typical Tasks:

Design

Rendering

Producing presentation graphics and presentations

Preparation of construction documents including specifications

Participation in client meetings and presentations

Site visits and field work

Project coordination

Education and Experience:

A professional degree from an accredited program in Landscape Architecture

or Civil Engineering

Approx. 5 years of professional experience with a Landscape Architecture,

Planning, or Engineering firm

Technical understanding of landscape architecture including construction

detailing and grading and drainage

Knowledge of California native plants

Skills and Abilities:

Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft and Adobe suites

Strong graphics with understanding of line weights, layout and color

Grading and drainage design capabilities

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to work as a member of collaborative team

Effective written and verbal communication skills

Desired Additional Skills/Experience:

GIS

AutoCAD Civil 3D

3D modeling (Sketch Up)

CA Professional License (not required)

Work Environment: Work is performed in an office environment, however, occasional

field work, including survey assistance or construction observation, may be required.

Hybrid work schedules are accepted.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Compensation: This position is full time with benefits, including health insurance, 401K,

and vacation. Salary range $75k-100k pending experience.
