Overview:
Saratoga Medical has an opening for a Molecular Biologist in the Emiola Lab at the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) located in Bethesda, MD. This Molecular Biologist will work on microbiology and molecular biology projects full-time.
Responsibilities:
- Document research findings and maintain accurate logs and records of all experimental activities and outcomes. Assist other lab staff and collaborators on their projects
- Assist in training interns and new lab staff in equipment handling and laboratory techniques
- Design and perform original molecular and cellular research
- Candidate must have a PhD degree and have their field of study in Molecular Biology
- Must have an undergraduate degree in MIcrobiology, Biochemistry, Or Molecular and Cellular Biology
- Experience in biology techniques such as nucleic acid extraction, PCR, and Western Blot
