Pay Range: $24.23 - $27.86 hourly, based on experience
Full Range: $24.23 - $31.50 hourly, based on experience
Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Job Responsibilities:
- Review new loan files and make introductory phone calls to borrowers; request additional items if needed.
- Order all verifications, including income, assets, credit supplements, title work, appraisals, and other pertinent documents.
- Review all verifications for accuracy; calculate income, LTV/CLTV and update data in loan files and AU.
- Submit loans to underwriting for conditional review and communicate status with borrowers, MLOs and other parties to the transaction.
- Obtain and review information/documentation to satisfy approval conditions; update 1003s and AU for final submission to underwriting.
- Manage pipeline of loans within service level expectations and consult manager for alternatives to ensure timely processing.
- Partner with MLOs, underwriters and other team members on difficult and/or exception transactions.
- Maintain current knowledge of and comply with all applicable laws and regulations, policies and procedures.
- Practice First Line of Defense to protect First Western Trust, ("the Bank") and its clients from fraud and theft of assets or information which includes utilizing available security measures to protect client and Company Non Public Information;
- Attend periodic training to optimize effectiveness of fraud and loss prevention;
- Recognize red flags of suspicious emails and follow guidelines for safe email practices to protect Company assets, systems and information.
- Know and comply with all Company policies set forth on the Company's Intranet;
- Review Associate Handbook and Company Policies annually, as prescribed by Human Capital;
- Complete and Comply with the Companies Code of Ethics and Conflict of Interest Questionnaire and Policy Acknowledgement;
- Complete all assigned training on time.

Required Skills & Experience:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Thorough knowledge of DU/DO and LP, experience with Encompass 360 is highly preferred, GUS and bond program experience is preferred
- Must have the ability to process up to 30 files per month

3-5 years, Residential mortgage loan processing in a bank environment; experience with FHA, VA and conventional loan processing preferred, Required
