Mosquito Control Technician - $1000 Retention Bonus - $800-$1100/week
Mosquito Control Technician's needed for early Spring 2023 (March / April). $1000 retention bonus if you have a pesticide applicator license in the state of Virginia. Will train if necessary.
Meadows Farms Nurseries in Chantilly VA is now hiring Mosquito Control spray technicians. Experience is great but not necessary. Join the newest division of our industry leading lawn and garden business.
Monday - Friday: 7am - 4pm (Occasional Saturdays)
Work from March through October in this seasonal position (Potential year-round work)
Daily Tasks Include:
- Mixing products
- Driving (Mercedes Benz - Metris)
- Spraying properties
- Keeping records on mobile device
- Expertly answer frequently asked client questions
- Equipment maintenance / cleaning
- Physically active outside work environment
Must have:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Strength to carry a 55 lb backpack sprayer (often through wooded or uneven terrain)
- Stamina to work 8-10 hours/day doing physical work
- Ability to pass state pesticide exam
- Ability to work independently
Pay and Benefits:
- $150 per day plus production bonuses
- $500 retention bonus after 90 days for certified applicators
- $500 retention bonus after 180 days for certified applicators
