Job Duties
JYF is seeking a Museum Shops Supervisor to assist with supervising the daily operations of the museum stores of the Foundation. Responsibilities include staff hiring, scheduling, and training; monitoring merchandise organization and availability; fostering teamwork; emphasizing product knowledge; and seeking to deliver outstanding customer service every day!
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge of retail practices, store operations and procedures.
- Experience in motivating, training and coaching retail sales associates.
- Ability to exemplify best customer service practices.
- Skill in the operation of networked POS systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and guests.
- Intermediate skill level with computer office software such as Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
At least two years of similar supervisory and merchandising experience in high volume retail environment is preferred.
