Museum Shops Supervisor Job at Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation
JYF is seeking a Museum Shops Supervisor to assist with supervising the daily operations of the museum stores of the Foundation. Responsibilities include staff hiring, scheduling, and training; monitoring merchandise organization and availability; fostering teamwork; emphasizing product knowledge; and seeking to deliver outstanding customer service every day!
-Knowledge of retail practices, store operations and procedures.
-Experience in motivating, training and coaching retail sales associates.
-Ability to exemplify best customer service practices.
-Skill in the operation of networked POS systems.
-Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and guests.
-Intermediate skill level with computer office software such as Microsoft Office.
At least two years of similar supervisory and merchandising experience in high volume retail environment is preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $34,362.00 - $37,056.00 per year
