National Account Contract Compliance, Engineering & Reliability Manager Job at Applied Industrial Technologies
What is the Position?
Applied has an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Account Compliance Manager focused on Engineering and Reliability for Customer plant locations across the US for one of our top Strategic Accounts. This is a high profile position at our Customer with many opportunities for growth. This position at our Customer will help to solidify an already solid connection between Applied and our Customer.
What will I do?
As the Strategic Account Compliance Manager, you will manage the relationship between Applied service centers and our Customer plants within a defined geography in terms of customer service, quality assurance, increased efficiency and communication. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Manage Revenue Growth by introducing and facilitating penetration into Engineering Teams with the Applied Subsidiary Groups –
- Flow Control
- Automation
- Fluid Power
- Manage Revenue Growth with Capital Projects with Supplier/Manufacturer Partners –
- Examples:Material Handling, Large Motors, Drives
- Set up Plant Surveys, Project Reviews and Plant Introductions with Key Applied Subsidiary Personnel and Customer Stake Holders
- Establish a Project Pipeline Report and Maintain Status –
- Communicate Monthly to Strategic Accounts and Field Management Team
- Document Savings Opportunities and Establish Replication Processes Across Customer’s Enterprise
- Capital Quote Establishment, Follow Up and Closing
- Communication with Field Leaders, Field Teams and Strategic Accounts Team Regularly
- Work with Engineering/Procurement Teams Regularly
- Define Customer Organization Chart and Communicate to Applied Strategic Accounts Team and Subsidiary Leadership Team
- Meet Regularly with Engineering/Procurement Team Leaders
What are the Job Requirements?
Three years’ experience in the sales, customer service engineering, or operations management arena is required. Equivalent to two years’ college study plus specialized training in customer service practices and office functions is needed. Math aptitude and the ability to apply mechanical principles to address customer needs are essential. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Access is a must. A successful candidate will be aggressive, confident, and have the ability to deal with all facets of a customer of this scope as well as effectively manage internal associates with no direct reporting relationship.
