What You'll Do:

• Provide systems and network and consulting services to assigned clients.
• Review project scope and/or contract beforehand and demonstrate sound understanding of business requirements and technical solution.
• Monitor and ensure that Mechdyne infrastructure is operating smoothly and that any modifications to the environment are executed without interruption during normal business hours.
• Acquire certifications and training as necessary to stay up to date on new technologies.

Power Skills You'll Bring:

• Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
• Possess the necessary technical skills such as:

Knowledge of networking services and common networking protocol

Cisco FTD, FortiGate, and Palo Alto

VLAN configurations and troubleshooting.

DNS, DHCP, RADIUS, NPS.

Meraki, Cisco, and Ubiquiti Access Points and controllers.

• Strong desire to consistently learn and stay updated with technology in various areas, including: storage, virtualization, server administration, desktop imaging strategies, etc.
• Must demonstrate can-do attitude and the ability to advise clients.
• Exhibit passion, enthusiasm, and positivity in each interaction you have.
• A self-starter and internally motivated to enhance both business and technical process.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.

Qualifications

• 3 Years of Windows Servers and Active Directory Support

Administration knowledge of Azure Active Directory

Administration knowledge of Exchange Online and on-prem MS Exchange

Windows endpoint management technologies such as Windows Defender, Modern Endpoint Management w/ Intune and Autopilot

Administration of Windows Deployment Services (WDS) and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (aka SCCM)

• 3 Years of Virtualization technology experience

VMWare ESXi

Storage support for locally attached and Storage Area Networks (SANs).

• 3 Years of network infrastructure administration and troubleshooting
• 2 Years of firewall & security administration
• 3 Years of LAN/WLAN administration

The nice-to-haves:

• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Certifications: CCNA
