Position: Network Administrator
Location: Austin, TX- Onsite (only local to Texas)
Required Skills:
· 7+ Network design and implementation
· 7+ Routing protocol implementation and troubleshooting
· 6+ Firewall implementation and troubleshooting
Preferred Skills:
· 3+ NSX Implementation and troubleshooting
· 3+ Software-defined access implementation and troubleshooting
Licenses and Certifications:
Desired certifications: CCNA, CCNP, Any IT security certifications
DESCRIPTION:
1. Participate in the 24-hour on-call rotations of operations
2. Resolve and document network connectivity issues
3. Act as SME for network maintenance (CVE patches, upgrades), evaluations, and recommendations
4. Deploy, administer, and maintain network switches, routers, and access points
5. Deploy, administer, and maintain Next Generation Firewalls in a real-time network
6. Administer Software Defined Access network infrastructure
7. Collaborate to infrastructure life-cycle management, planning and design
8. Present findings to key stakeholders
9. Travel to and from different work sites to perform work, as needed
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
