Job Summary of the Neurodiagnostic Technologist | Technician (EEG)

Clinical Neurology Specialists (CNS) is one of the leading outpatient neurology practices in Southern Nevada. Nevada’s first physician-owned outpatient EDX Labs to achieve exemplary status rating by American Academy of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM).

Having established outpatient offices in both Las Vegas and Henderson, CNS has been serving the Las Vegas Valley community and surrounding areas for over 20 years.

As a Neurodiagnostic Technologist / Technician, you are part of the expert team of healthcare workers. In this role, you will perform:

  • Routine EEG
  • Ambulatory EEG

We are looking for an individual who has a collaborative approach and highly detailed, has excellent communications explaining tests to patients, has a commitment to improving patient care quality and implementing sanitation and safety measures per local, state and federal guidelines and requirements.

Location: Nevada, Clark County, Multiple (CNS Las Vegas Clinic and CNS Henderson Clinic)

Work Schedule: Day, 8 to 9 hours, occasional Saturday

Work Type: Full Time Regular

Minimum Qualifications of Neurodiagnostic Technologist | Technician (EEG)

  • Associate’s Degree or higher education from an accredited college or university. Kinesiology degree a plus.
  • One (1) year or more recent applicable experience in a healthcare facility (ambulatory, hospital, etc.). Kinesiology degree may substitute this requirement.
  • Electro-Neuro Diagnostic Technologist certificate from an accredited national, state or military trained equivalent program preferred.
  • R.E.E.G.T or R.NCS.T, is highly desired.
  • Current First Aid / CPR certification a plus.
  • Ability to work at the two practice locations, Las Vegas and Henderson based on the supervising physician schedule rotation.
  • Experience with other diagnostic testing, such as Evoked Potentials, SSEP, BLINK, BAER a plus.
