The Shelter Harbor Inn is actively searching for an organized, detailed, and professional Night Auditor to join our Front Office team.

This is a Part Time, seasonal opportunity, but open to both part time and full time candidates, 11PM-7AM OVERNIGHT.

The Shelter Harbor Inn, managed by Hay Creek Hotels, is a New England retreat in the Shelter Harbor community of Westerly, RI. Built in 1800, and completely revamped in 2019, The Shelter Harbor Inn is your home away from home. Situated on over three acres of greenery, the 23-room inn features upscale amenities including an on-site restaurant with multiple dining options serving fresh New American cuisine, a spa, and various seasonal activities.

Job Summary:

• Collect and organize all reports, receipts, and transactions for all property revenue sources.
• Reconcile all day-end revenue. Ensure transaction processing balances and expected revenue is collected.
• Populate Daily Revenue Reports and communicate accordingly to management team daily.
• Problem solve any accounting activity issues regularly. Resolve technical issues as needed.
• Manage all late-night activity at the property. Communicate and handle security concerns to appropriate managers.
• Assist Guest Service Agents as needed. Ability to perform all Guest Service Agent duties including checking guests in and out, checking availability, booking reservations, and general customer service for all guests.
• Know and practice all safety and emergency procedures. Lead emergency situations such as evacuations. Adhere to and enforce key procedures. Secure guest valuables and lost and found. Manage all security concerns and ensure guest safety overnight.
• Complete additional projects as assigned by direct manager and/or accounting, including scanning of invoices, direct billing duties, report analysis, etc.

Job Type: Part-time

Wage: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Experience and Skills:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding of basic accounting principals.
• Able to work independently
• Proven ability to work overnights
• Must be comfortable with technology and a quick learner.
• Ability to work in a constructive, team working environment with a positive, upbeat and customer-focused attitude.
• Hospitality or customer service experience.
• Ability to operate smoothly and professionally under high stress situations while maintaining hospitality
• Flexibility to work overnight on some weekend nights and holidays
• May be subject to successful completion of background check and/or DMV check.
