Starting Pay $23.50/hour
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the safety and security of guests and employees at an assigned post by enforcing house policies and laws regarding alcohol service
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Check identifications of all guests to ensure they are 21 years of age or older.
- Enforce appropriate dress code of guests while in the venue.
- Ensure the venue is not overcrowded by maintaining door counts.
- Assist with setup and takedown of the venue as well as general housekeeping.
- Respond to incidents of confrontation and disturbance to de-escalate them accordance with Security Department policies and procedures.
- Provide Family Style Service to our guests and employees.
- Regular, predictable attendance in accordance with department policy.
Other job related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Understand and comply with all company and departmental rules and regulations, policies and procedures. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective work relationships with staff and guest. Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English. Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Work is performed in an area which may be unusually noisy and crowded.
- Mobility to include bending, reaching, prolonged standing and walking, accessing and lifting items from floor level to six feet high
- Normal sense of smell, touch, sound and vision range
- Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity as well as the ability to distinguish letters, symbols and currency
- Work area is subject to variable temperatures.
- May be subject to smoking environment and moderate noise.
